Our Solution:
Some people just use pliers to twist the tracks open, wedge the rollers in, and twist the tracks back when incidents like this happen. This is not a well-advised process, though! Doing this will make your tracks and rollers wear out faster, and potentially loses the tracks all over again. It’s best to do as we did for Mrs. Fannerman; remove the door, lower it back into its tracks from the top, and replace whatever rollers need replacing. Hard work pays off with longer-lasting garage door tracks.
